City of Bones By: Cassandra Clare

Dear Readers,   This book's plot was awesome, but to be honest the whole incest situation being mentioned is not something that I am interested in. The plot kept me interested enough for me to finish the book. As well as to start the second book. I started this book by listening to it instead of buying the book just in case I didn ’t like them .   Even though I’m not one hundred percent happy about the incest moments being mentioned in this book. It was a great book because the main character had to discover a new part of herself she wasn’t expecting in a million years. She had to learn all the basic of what she can do on her own because everything she was learning was usually taught to shadow hunter when they are very young .   The hatred that she has for her father is admirable honest because she grew up believing that the man was dead. For her to find out that he is very much alive and everyone is after his head for all the trouble he has been causi...

City of Ashes By: Cassandra Clare

Dear Readers,                      I gave the first book of this series a go and I loved the plot as well as the action everything happening. Even though I am not the biggest fan of reading incest in my books. The first book is a great read, but this book they certainly made it all about the love that the main character and her brother have for each other that is certainly not si bling love.        The main character also found out that she can create runes in her dreams as well as make them on paper. When she told everyone what she could do everyone assumed that she was bluffing until they witness her draw them as well as tried them out to see if they actually worked or not. They certainly did work when Alex almost came out as gay to his parents not only that who he was into and dating.   It is mentioned that Jace wants more than just a sister and brother relationship. He wants to her ...

King Of Wrath By: Ana Huang

Dear Readers,      I went into this book blind. I didn’t know what to expect. This was one of the first books that had me eager about jumping into reading more romance because I thought I wasn’t going to find a good book to keep me excited until the very end of the book. Let me tell you, this book proved me very much wrong. I loved it from the beginning, from the hate that they have for each other to the passion that builds faster than what they can breathe. This story was giving everything because of the tension that was happening because she was supposed to be perfect in front of her parents.      When it comes to light that she falls fast and hard for this man, she doesn’t know what to do, so she goes to one of her best friends and tells her how she feels. She doesn’t expect her to ask her to go with the flow and enjoy the new-found happiness with her arranged husband, even if it didn’t start on the best of terms. Even though she takes her friend's...

The Silent Patient By: Alex Michaelides

Dear Readers,      I will be perfectly sincere with you guys on this one, but this book was my least favorite book that I have read because it wasn’t hitting the marks at all. This book was dull, slow, the font continued varying too much and because of it, my eyes were stinging, and I couldn’t concentrate at all. I struggled to move through this book with all of my strength, but it went from bad to worse. It just didn’t get any better. The further you read, the dumber you feel as you are getting closer to the ending.      This was an unacceptable one. You can obviously go right ahead and give it a go, but from my part it was not my favorite. I felt like things were evident, and suddenly they just got way more perplexing and complex because everybody just continued shutting down the opinions of the psychotherapist to support his patient and everybody just continued staring at her like she is just a lost cause all the while they feel like they demand to...
