Cruel Crown By: Victoria Aveyard

Dear Readers,

This little book is certainly something else. I certainly didn't expect to get the point of view of Cal's mother and how she meet his father. To say the least I am surprised of what she had to go through and honestly she was going border line crazy because of what the current queen was feeding her.

The way she doubted everyone around her because the other lady didn't get the chance to participate in queencentenial is crazy to me. She definetly stopped at nothing to get what she wanted and her wish was to become queen more than anything. Not only that Cal's mother had a tuff upbringing because at somepoint they had run out of money and could barely afford the bare necessities. The amount of times i wanted to strangle her cousin because of the way she treated her.

That woman was so hateful and wanted her to be a proper silver lady, her character was so annoying I tell you. I am glad she was longer alive during the other books because honestly she would drive me crazy that's for sure.

I recommend reading this because it gives a different perspective of what happened to Cal's mom and how her brother handled it. I recommend getting it to find out what the second story that is told is about and who's point of view it is on.

Happy Reading!
